I figured if it were a problem between the OS itself and Outlook the problem might replicate on my machine and I could dig first hand into my own samples (I'm not sure if Peter forwarding the messages is affecting the formatting at all.). I've installed Outlook 2007 on my own little Win 10 Dell machine. And I haven't been able to dig up that fix Unfortunately that person posted twice on that forum and hasn't been seen since 2016. I found a forum message from 2016 in which a person had an identical issue and mentioned a registry fix that corrected the issue temporarily. I've been searching the web for a solution, with little to show for it. I considered the possibility of Outlook not handling scaling well on the SB display, but it seems to me that every message would be affected, not certain ones from particular senders. Might be interesting to see if I can get some time on his computer. The formatting in the email source is coding for the tiny font (usually 5.5) but I'm not certain if the same would be true if I can get a chance to view the original email on Peter's computer. In the samples I get, the sender's portion of the email will be tiny, Peter's reply will be formatted normally, then the response will be tiny again. No common link I can see on the senders so far. It's also occurring in emails Peter gets from the Jira service, and from some vendors. However, I see the problem in all the samples that Peter forwards to me. And I don't have any problems with emails she sends me (even on Outlook on my personal Win10 machine).
OUTLOOK TEXT SMALL PC
One in-house sender uses both a Mac and a PC - it happens on the messages she sends from Outlook on her Mac, but not ones from her PC. While he can zoom in the message to make the font readable, that makes it more difficult to reply. Emails from certain senders are showing up with tiny, illegible text. This particular exec is having a strange problem. All went well for the most part until I gave out the final one last week. Recently we've given Surface Books to the executive staff to replace their desktop systems.
